Founder and co-organizer of Deep Learning Montreal:

The initiative: Deep Learning Montreal have for mission knowledge enrichment about Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning. It’s an meetup serie where students, researchers and industrial stockholders, meet share and help each other beyond official academic conferences.

Progress: Deep Learning Montreal is now the biggest regroupment of Deep Learning enthusiasts where it groups more than 230 persons (the limit of the venue) where they learn, share and exchange in a same room. Many organizations like Google, Autodesk, Microsoft Maluuba and District3 contributed to this movement by offering knowledge, venues and food for the invites.


Current implication: Highly active

Creating initiatives that bring together all stakeholders in Montreal’s emerging sharing economy in order to foster an informed, connected, and engaged community.



Mentor at Startup Weekend:

As an entrepreneur, Startup Weekend is one of my preferred startup experience. This annual event is an amazing chance for any entrepreneur to learn and share with people having the same passion. As a mentor, I learned a lot from Startup Weekend teams.

Initiator of Half A Bottle:

Half a bottle is a game theory based social experience I created. This movement aims to improve the living conditions of stray animals in Tunis (very dry and hot in the summer, which really lacks public water fountains). The starting premise was: If each person / street provide drinkable water to stray, we can cover the whole city needs. Have a look on this link





Founder of ISG Tunis Microsoft Learning club:

Creating ISG Microsoft was one of my biggest challenge and emotional rewarding challenge. It was the first technology club in my undergraduate university offering training and activities for the students. The club was started in a disincentives administrative ecosystem and to creating it despite this reality was an important personal achievement.
